why was the Rocketjump feature removed? (DOOM 3)
it would be very convenient to jump to high platforms, and it would be more interesting to play - this was probably in vain removed, and why, who knows?2 Comments

Well, then they removed it so that the player would not cheat too much, since let's admit: rocketjump is nonsense) In the sense in real life, shoot at your feet and take off, right? Well, yes, good luck 8) To fly straight to the next world ... Doom 3 is a more realistic game, even the main character walks slowly, and does not fly like a racing car on the map, as it was in Doom 2 =]
The single Doom 3 does not have a rocket jump needed. It never appeared in the Doom series.
