RenderWare Studio SDK v3.7 (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas)
Perhaps everyone already knows about this, and I was confused as much as a certain prescription, well, maybe someone did not see it.The engine on which 3d GTA and other masterpieces of the gaming industry were made. It was leaked, I don't know when and by whom
. At the moment, this software is terribly outdated and is suitable for research and possible help for mods. There are also plugins from 3d max, maya, renderware software and a bunch of documentation included Antique
installation:
Spoiler1. Unpack, Install the program "Setup.exe",
Which is located in the Folder "Renderware Graphics SDK 3.7".
2. After Installation, copy the "lservrc" file that is in the "License" Folder.
Into the Installed directory " shared OpenExport bin" replacing the lservrc file there.
Tested FOR WINDOWS XP - Works! =)
IMPORTANT!!! For WINDOWS 98SE and XP Users:
If, after restarting, you receive error messages.
For example: "Can't find AWD.DLL" or similar file.
When you try to get started with any of the Renderware utilities.
You can fix the problem by copying the necessary files from the "sharedOpenExportbin"
folder (the same folder where you copied the lservrc file) to your "WindowsSystem" folder.
NOTE: Copy ONLY the CONTENT of this folder and not everything.
After installing the engine, you need to build it, I hope this is not a problem
for local coders. Instructions for building the engine are here Graphics docs whitepapers BuildRW (if I'm not mistaken)

Spoiler
For GTA, modified versions of the engine were used - the GTA Engine. And these sources, of course, have never been merged. Therefore, for modding even GTA San Andreas, this toolkit is completely useless.
Yes, and to create on it now some kind of your own toy is also most likely impossible. Because there is very little documentation.
Grandshot
"GTA Engine" doesn't exist ! There is a concept "modified renderware" made specifically for the 3D generation of GTA.
And if easier as said pro modding GTA "DK22Pac"
"Online users can search for files from all versions of the SDK, which was developed GTA (GTA3 - 3.3.0.2, GTAVC - 3.4.0.3, GTASA - 3.6.0.3).
In fact, , this makes it possible to expand the capabilities of these games by connecting additional modules from the SDK.
Thus, Normal Map Plugin is based on the plugin library from this SDK. "
I do not argue that it will not work to create something out of this. But using the soft that is here, it is quite possible to connect new nishtyaks for gta (if a pro does it).
