What about the rest of the world? (Fallout 4)

It is clear from the game that the United States has annexed Canada. They were destroyed by the war, China was destroyed by the Americans in retaliation. Mexico was also destroyed by China. Plus Europe may have been destroyed, as was the Middle East. Between them there was a war for resources, as we know, plus a civil war in Europe. They were pretty shabby even before the great war. Although Alistair Tenpenny, for example, arrived in Washington from England. So living people remained in Europe, and they are even able to cross the ocean. And what about South America. With Africa. There was absolutely no point in bombing them, not the United States, not China. And what about Australia? With India, with Japan, with South Asia (although it may have been annexed by China and destroyed)? Is there a chance that not all countries have been destroyed?
PS For me it would be so interesting if the new part or DLS would muddy the invasion of colonists from Africa, South America or Europe.

Not for this: "Such weapons were originally sharpened to destroy large concentrations of troops and people of the protagonist."
Absolutely not for this, where were the first atomic bombs thrown? Correctly on the cities. To destroy and suppress psychologically.
On people and industry, on the enemy's atomic weapons, their delivery vehicles, and so on.
This is a strategic weapon, but perhaps tactical atomic weapons would be suitable for the destruction of troops.
Now theoretically destroyed: medium-range missiles, projectiles with poison. warheads (don't be surprised there were thousands of them), torpedoes and so on. A strategic multiple-head missile carries several charges that will cover a multi-kilometer target of the "carpet bombing" type. Moreover, the number of accumulated charges (before the disarmament of the times of Gorbachev) made it possible to do this many times. And now they still allow it. And there is a "cowshed" or Vegas, absolutely all the same, the main problem is to inflict an "unanswered" blow on the enemy. By the way, in the USA 60-70s were really quite popular and individual shelters were built, this is not an invention of filmmakers.
