Edward Deegan disappeared at the clinic (Fallout 4)

the problem is what went into the clinic with a jack cabot, went with him to the beacon where Edward Deegan should lie. There are no bodies. Jack sits over an empty space and that's it. Is there a way to complete this quest with the console.
