A little confused in the plot structure. (Overlord)

I do not know if I alone sometimes return to locations after they have been cleared according to the plot, but still.
After the question with the forest, the surroundings of the temple and the temple itself are filled with trolls, of which 2 are friendly, and all the ghosts (even if they are not killed) disappear. What do you think, is there any lore-based explanation for this, or just developed out of boredom?

As a person who has been studying the game for quite a long time, I have a theory about this. On the side where the gates are, the elves are initially friendly to the player, until a script is triggered in which they begin to aggro at the player and henchmen. Perhaps, when placing those trolls, the developers somehow accidentally tied their behavior to the one that the ghosts had, or the room itself is a big crutch, where the creatures are friendly before the script is activated. Well, about why the script does not work, then most likely this is due to the fact that by that time the location was cleaned, because of which the sequence of scripts is violated and the script for the aggregate does not work.
In the over, I can remember a few more places where aggressive creatures are friendly, well, or don't want to hit.

update: Now, by the way, I remembered that after opening the coffins, on the other hand, the ghosts seem to become not aggressive. Apparently, upon completion of the script, the location is saved in this state and, accordingly, the trolls placed there become friendly.

I'm more interested in the appearance of the trolls. Although they seemed to be cleaned in the game before the murder of Oberon.

Well, what about them? From the pieces of Laura that we have, we can say that wild troll creatures that exist in the forests even before Oberon's nightmares are also intelligent, so why not hide from the skull clan (I don't know what their relationship is with each other) and the rains somewhere in a cave or temple. Well, why are they there after death? Game convention. You can carve out a village in Auvers and then its inhabitants will scold you for killing them
