FPS drop (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)

After 10-20 minutes of the game, the FPS starts to drop to 30-40 and it disappears only after restarting the computer, and it is always 60. What could be the problem?

With such accessories! buy memory + 8Gb (2x4), or better !!! + 16Gb (2x8) - for growth !!! - hello Cyberpunk 2077, (your motherboard supports up to 32Gb) shouldn't be a problem! I think so. (it is better to take GSkill, and be sure to pay attention to the voltage and maximum memory frequency! it must match the one that is already worth it!)

And turn off the antivirus and autorun is not destiny?

i4790 - somewhere around 35000 rubles, + 980Ti (78000-88000 rubles?) + Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z97 (13000-15000 rubles) on THIS BACKGROUND, additional purchase of operatives (8000-14000 rubles), this is even less gestures than disabling antivirus and parsing at startup! I personally see it this way. Ultimatum so Ultimatum!

Some advice is simply hell, thank you, laugh, especially with the "buy more operatives" ...
So, the options that can be only 3:
1 - started this thread then decided to catch "lulz" (the fool is clear that the specifications that he indicated that nothing should be slowed down in principle)
2 - software errors in the system (extremely unlikely)
3- (most likely) processor overheating and reset frequencies. 4790k is a pretty hot stone, and if overclocking takes place, then send the fire brigade at all)). Cool advice that has already been given: download aida64 or msi afterburner and monitor the cpu and gpu temperatures (it won't be superfluous). If the processor temperature goes over 80, then it starts dropping frequencies, hence the problem.

It is unlikely that the matter is in the operative

It is also unlikely with a processor, a very good cooler, 57 degrees maximum. But I just checked and for a couple of seconds my 60 fps returned, but then it dropped to 20-40 (if this can somehow help)

The author of the topic did not mention the name of the cooler anywhere, so I assume that he has some boxy one there (and it seems to me that it is).

But the temperature is still a monitor. How do the temperature and load of the video card and processor change when the FPS falls?

C
Crooked man 25.11.21

SeregaMazahaka
The processor did not rise above 60 (47-57 degrees)
Video card 69-70 degrees

SeregaMazahaka 25.11.21

What about the load on the processor and video card? what percentage are both loaded when the recession occurs?
And is there any overclocking of the video card, and if so, what and by how much is it overclocked?

As I understand it, it does not depend on the load, as I wrote above, how the processor and vidyah at the beginning of the game rise to their temperature, so they stay on it. The video card is not overclocked. Without leaving the witcher, I launched fallout 4 and everything worked perfectly at 60 fps on ultras.

and where you can see the FPS. I put some kind of graphic mod there it showed 30 I was surprised I have ultra settings at 2560X1440 there are no brakes or crashes (rarely), it shows everyone who saw the super monitor 27 ----- strange

I didn't understand what you wrote at all, but I check the FPS with the bandicam program

A bit wrong. To hell with her, with the temperature, it is the model of the behavior of the processor and video card at the time of the appearance of friezes that is interesting. What can be:
1. The CPU is 100% loaded, the video card is 40%
2. The CPU is 40%, the video is 100%
3. Both are 40%
in afterberne have it all there from the graphs in the monitoring window can be much interesting conclusions to draw for yourself.
If there is a third option (incomplete load on either the video or the CPU), then we can assume either some deeper problems with the hardware (local overheating of the CPU power circuits, overheating of the memory on the video card, etc.), or there really are problems with the OS or incompatibility of programs (the same programs that are used to record video can potentially cause such problems).

repeat once again, even if this is all true, why are there problems with only one game? All other games work perfectly

Games use system resources in different ways, so anything can happen. Eniway, without screenshots with graphs, temperatures, etc. - it's all lyrics. Now I myself am already inclined towards software problems in this case.

I can now make screenshots, "Loading CPU1" and "Loading GPU1 GPU" is that what you need?
