Draining with Kellogg (Fallout 4)

Kellogg is the most charismatic character in the entire game, why was he so easily leaked?

Personally, after the house of memories, I always yearned for Nick with me, in the hope that now there will be a feint with my ears. Hoped that the detective's program would be erased and Kellogg would take control, but alas and ah.

Memories of Kellogg are written better than the plot of the game, because of them I had a strong feeling that the plot was starting to accelerate and when Kellogg spoke through Nick, this feeling only intensified, but alas and ah.
