How can I tell you, a seamless HD world requires a large buffer, wherever you go, there are uploaded HD quality textures, and whatever you see loading, freezing, 500 meters of the map (or how much) is simulated and shoved into memory, suddenly you decide to run there, or back.

GTA5 managed to eat 16 gigs in 2 hours, but this is most likely a RAM leak, or it may be so conceived.

This is something with the computer. For almost 300 hours in The Witcher, I never noticed that I was eating a RAM .. Both on repacks, and later on the face of the GOG. And after the game is turned off, the memory is freed?

The only thing that is not clear is that the paging file is dynamic and is used when there is a lack of RAM. Then why doesn't the game gobble up all the memory first and only then swap the hard drive? ...

The game eats 8 gigs without a system, and at least 10 gigs are desirable, although I would use 16 gigs.
As I understand it, this CURVE GAME uses more RAM than video memory, which is why we get 8+ gig zhora after loading many locations.
By the way, this is the most demanding game in terms of memory and offline.

While GTA5 is one of those games where there is never a lot of memory, offline 7.5-8.5GB is stable, wacht dogs 6.5-7.5GB. The optimization of these games may be crooked, but .k these are console ports, it is desirable to have 16GB of RAM already.
