terrible heating in games up to 95 degrees.
video card: radeon r9 290xcooling system: Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme IV
sharp heating, literally in a couple of seconds up to 95.
It didn’t happen before, 70-75 maximum, I don’t know what to do.
First, unscrew the cooler, change the thermal paste, apply a thin layer, then screw it back, carefully, without distortions, most likely screwed it badly, I’m more than sure that if the CO is in a tower-type case, then the CO has disappeared most likely.
Cut down acceleration if there is.
Neurocean
in the sense is screwed clumsily, hung on thermal paste, read on the forums, these coolers have trouble, with their weight and puffs to the backplate, somewhere they didn’t tighten it, somewhere they pulled it, it went skewed, etc.
CRASBULLET
yes, terribly heavy, I had to pull it to the body with a cable so as not to hang too much)
Neurocean
Isn't there a stiffener in the kit? I had a similar system, I grabbed grief with it. Gaskets should also be placed normally on the backplate.
Poorly stupid screwed most likely or greed for thermal paste.
and finally, in terms of efficiency, it is no better than standard reference cooling plus slow fans with weak airflow.
Neurocean,
yes, I'd rather sit on it than on a standard "airplane".
In Buner, you can’t adjust the fan rotation schedule for yourself? + Replace the paste
Neurocean
Heating at system startup / connecting to an Internet, or only in games?
NorthernSky
in games, but I fixed it already, took it apart and assembled it, everything was fine.
[Denis Alexandrovich]
so what's the point? Do you like to play when you have noise from one fan in the whole room?
Neurocean
You misunderstood me. Collect it with the old one and adjust the speed so that it is bearable. If the heating is 80-86 °, then this is normal for the card. Is the case well ventilated?
[Denis Alexandrovich]
does it make sense to replace the cooler with your own, for example?
Arctic Accelero Hybrid III - 140, or something else?
I never changed Neurocean myself. What kind of cooling was, I played with it. I only changed thermal paste and added a valve to the case for blowing in. The throughput is higher. The card cools better
. worked silently. There is a specialist in these things somewhere. If you need silence, then it makes sense to take your own.
this one has its own declared 300tdp for the video card, it's under 275 like. those warm up it should be about the same but slowly.
it may happen that the one that is currently worth is defective because there is overheating for the dissipated power of this thing. nada look for reviews about it and such a card.
but in general, almost always how much I care about top-end solutions, and even if they work with a turbine, third-party cooling works worse, plus tm, the memory and other elements should also be cooled, and this usually does not happen without a turbine or native cooling.
on the contrary, they vibrate all sorts of quiet cards with a warm-up of 60-90 in idle-work and nicknames and further neither overclock nor cool because they are too lazy to screw the narrow fins of the 4000 rpm radiator into a turntable.
