For me as a fan of the first part - a great continuation.

Despite the fact that most of the intrigue of the world was revealed in the first part, the sequel has something to surprise. The combat system, pumping, research, picture, travel around the world and a variety of tasks have improved. I have not felt such an abundance of interesting activities since The Witcher III - each, even a small activity, is somehow different and memorable and does not feel like a monotonous repetition of the same thing ten times (racing cars with the unexpected appearance of a character from the first game in the final of all competitions - this is generally something). But most importantly, they worked on the characters and the plot. The characters and the relationships between them really feel alive. Facial expressions, looks, jokes, charm, wit - it was never boring when listening to dialogues, even in secondary tasks. One suggestion from Avad about living together with Ela at the very beginning, to which one can even agree and from which our heroine was amiably embarrassed, what is it worth. Life in the game is felt everywhere, especially in settlements, and the feeling that this world is alive, and not built and scripted for the player, does not leave for a minute, and feelings and emotions are in the air.

According to the plot, and not only old acquaintances returned (Erend, Varl, Sylens, Petra, Talana and someone else, but I won’t spoil it) and new ones were added, and it’s really interesting to spend time with them, and their fate in the world worries you . Cotallo came out especially memorable. Even with Hades there is an interesting conversation. But most importantly, Aloy returned and, despite all the courage and kindness of the girl, even she will have to change in the new game and understand that taking on the heavy burden of saving the world alone will not work and for the sake of the common cause, you must definitely rely on those who loves you and doesn't push them away.

And although the ending of the "Forbidden West" is not as grandiose as that of Zero Dawn, he immediately said that all the difficulties that the heroes went through are only preparation for an even greater threat hanging over the world. As a big fan of the first part, I am very glad to continue and recommend it for passing. The world and history are still interesting, the tribes and cultures are diverse, the characters are charming, charismatic and, most importantly, understandable, and the world is colorful, picturesque and really interesting to explore. Those who went to the first part will definitely like it. "Forbidden West", although it does not cause the same delight as Zero Dawn, is still able to surprise and captivate with itself for many hours.
