Asus zenfone 2 instead of zenfone 5

I want to change my cell phone. So what do you think is a reasonable replacement? How much better did the second generation? And especially what about the camera?

I would advise you to disable the unnecessary from the androyd processes and then the moment of miracle will come and the smart will live longer

What could be unnecessary? Usually, you can’t turn off the system ones. And the rest is not so much. Basically, the battery goes to the screen.

Well, make the screen brightness to the minimum level suitable for you and enjoy the work of your smartphone for a few more hours!)

This time is enough for me, it's just that there is always a nitpick who will say that the smart battery runs out quickly, no matter what the smartphone is. Like, his Nokia kept two weeks once: D

The shell provides a function to manage startup, so that unnecessary applications can be disabled without rooting and other troubles.
Proofpick:
If you take into account scenarios with games "half an hour on the subway" + 3G +WiFi + calls and messaging, then you are guaranteed 12 hours.

Well, let's first clarify the fact that the Nokia screen was not so big, and there was no hardware as such, so it is clear that with this arrangement the phone will work for quite a long time!

Functions as on a PC) In fact, if you turn off all these autoruns, you can decently save the battery.
Raykor
It is, and it is clear. 12 hours for me is more than with such use.

allividic You can also disable system processes, especially if they are related to synchronization.

R
Raykor 04.03.22

You can, of course, but not all processes can be turned off, and in general the problem with working on a single charge rather depends not on the smartphone, but on the fact that Android itself consumes quite a lot of energy!

By system, I meant something more android, but these are still superficial processes that I would not even call system really, rather functional.

R
Raykor 04.03.22

Well, I don’t know how I didn’t try to disable system processes, the smartphone didn’t allow me to do this, or I had to reboot it, since it didn’t start working quite correctly!

A
Allinos 04.03.22

It is better not to complete without a good knowledge of the processes themselves, otherwise you can ruin your smartphone, or at best you will have to update the firmware.

R
Raykor 04.03.22

That's it, it's all because of the pursuit for the sake of extra megabytes of RAM, as for me it's better to immediately take a smartphone with 4 gigs and not engage in such nonsense!)

m
maxzeva 04.03.22

Somewhere there is a list of processes. which can be safely turned off, but I do not remember where I saw it. But you can conjure. At your own risk of course

I understand that everyone here likes zenfone 2 on intel, for its performance. But it seems to me that for people who do not require anything serious from a smartphone, the new version on the media library may appeal to
http://www.ixbt.com/news/2015/07/02/asus-zenfone-go-mediatek.html

R
Raykor 04.03.22

To the media library? Hmmm... it's really debatable here, I personally never trusted MTK processors, if snapdragons can still offer something, then MTK is a completely budget processor!

A
Amarelius 04.03.22

On the one hand, Asus will beat competitors even more with prices, on the other hand, MTK is a so-so option. Intel is better.

R
Raykor 04.03.22

So no one argues. but the production of smartphones on MTK processors is quite cheap, maybe that's why they decided to make their smarts on them?

m
maxzeva 04.03.22

it is necessary to close the budget sectors, which is a kind of advertising for more top-end devices. At one time, Nokia made a noise like that. Smarts should be for everyone, otherwise you can go into the shadows

I agree, but some manufacturers are trying to be in the top due to a big name and a fairly large price tag for their smartphones
