Problems after overclocking

After repair in the warranty service center, the performance of the laptop noticeably decreased. The motherboard was replaced with a board with the same characteristics. One oddity was that the video memory instead of the declared 11000 MHz for my video card (rtx 2070 super max-q) did not rise above 5500 MHz. I decided to play around with the msi afterburner slider. +100, +400, +800, +1000 - everything is fine. The frequency increased to 6800 MHz and performance increased. I decided to set the slider to the maximum ... As a result, everything flew out, the screen went out. After the reboot, the slider returned to +0. everything seems to be working, but some games crash, some graphic artifacts (like being captured), the screen brightness does not change, and application windows are buggy, not completely immersed or displayed incorrectly. What kind of nonsense?

Isn't it better to contact the same SC with this question? Yes, no, nonsense, it’s better to ask on a random forum, where technically 0.1% of users understand the hardware at most.

Chel, if you don't understand hardware, then I'll say 5500mhz is 11000mhz, just programs like msi afterburner, divide it into 2! and in gpu z it is generally divided by 8, that is, in your gpu z it will show 1375mhz, so everything shows correctly for you, but the fact that you overclocked it to 6800mhz means you have 13600mhz, I hope you understand everything, that's the point !.
And the fact that artifacts appear means you overclocked the memory too much! and if anything in msi afterburner you need to click to reset all half-silence, on a circle with an arrow, and not manually put everything back.

You have it written differently, reset! but everything seems to be reset!

Did you reboot the laptop after the artifacts?

Thank you, it helped, I did not know that the programs were divided into two.

But still there is a problem with lower performance and I don’t know what to do about it, the service center is closed, the warranty is running out.

yes, it didn't help, now it helped

And on amd video cards, msi afterburner divides by 8! like in gpu z.

GalkaV
And where did you get the idea that the performance is not what it should be?

Kartonkratos
Well, here's an example for you:
on the same settings
Cyberpunk2077: before repair 40-55 frames, after 30-45
CS:GO: before repair somewhere around 200-300, after 130-143

I hope you haven't compared at least with the desktop rtx 2070 super, otherwise it is much more productive than yours! even if desktop rtx 2060 is more powerful than rtx 2070 super max q!

And you are talking about what used to be, but I thought that I found a video, and I was already guided by them.
And where did you hand it in for repairs, to the official service center, or to some kind of Vasya?

Kartonkratos
no, I compare with what I had before. In the SC I handed over the official warranty
