I can't play online. (Unreal Tournament 3)

Bought "Unreal Tournament 3: Black Edition" on Steam. Installed.
The first thing they offer me is to log in using my profile. I don't have a profile.
I'm not stupid, I saw the opportunity to create a profile right in the game. I entered everything correctly, entered a real email, everything was done beautifully. What happens next?
I click "Create Profile" and it starts creating. Creates endlessly. No errors, no crashes, everything is smooth, but it just does nothing. A message hangs that he creates a profile and that's it. Cannot be canceled, nothing can be done, nothing happens next. It just hangs a message that he is creating a profile for me.

What could be the problem?
