Pirate_89 (4): I heard like. As far as I know Norton is made in the USA. And Microsoft in the US. They need to support their compatriots :).

1 none. used to be kaspersky...
2 already half a year without anti-ware and without a firewall...
3 I advise everyone to properly deal with the Internet, rummage in the browser, and surf without anti-ware.
Well, do not go to any porn sites. and no viruses are terrible;) I won’t say that an antivirus on a computer is a sign of non-advancement ... however, if you surf on an Internet without an antivirus and do not catch viruses at the same time, this is a sign of advancement
:) and active-x...).
close dangerous ports with a firewall (by the way, you can serve with a firewall if you want) ...
and go only to trusted sites. it’s better not to go to porn sites :) but if you really want to, then only to proven ones.

Definitely Kaspersky Anti-Virus. I've been working with it for about 4 years, I started with version 4.0, now it's 7.0, no problems, it wets all the filth that breaks into the computer. And if the system is configured normally, then Casper will not slow it down too much. And no firewalls or other protection is needed. Now it "protects" 40 cars and has never failed!!!
Panda is good against trojans - that's a fact, but how much it devours systems makes it simply impossible to put it even on an average computer.
Dr. Web - a good antivirus program, most importantly very "easy" for the system. True, I let it down once, so now I don’t use it. It must be installed with a good firewall.
Nod32 - installed recently, no problems so far, caught a couple of network worms and is also not particularly "heavy" for the system. It must be installed with a good firewall.
Norton - immeasurably eats the system, everything is only for him and for him - a grabber, they would make it easier, then it would be possible to install it.

1. KIS 7
2. A week or two.
3. Most likely, I advise. Prior to this, Symantec stood, so I updated it, checked the entire computer, it did not find anything. Then he immediately demolished it, downloaded KIS 7, installed it, updated it, checked the whole computer - he found 14 viruses from me ...
