Jacob of Aldersburg (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)

Hi all! If you go to the bookstore on the main square of Novigrad, where magicians are burned, then the local seller will tell you that someone left a book for you. Having found it, you find in it a letter with a signature from a certain A. Actually, what I wanted to ask, does the letter conclude that Jacob from Aldersberg is the same Alvin source? In the first part of the game, when we killed Yakov, he had a Dwemerite amulet that we gave to Alvin, and in this part of the game this is hinted at again. Who thinks about this?

This topic has been brought up many times already. Yes, Jacob-Alvin is one and the same person. The only thing that is strange is that the elf does not have it in Lara's family tree. But given that they can move in the past and future, it may well be that he has not yet been born, or vice versa from the future. In general, there are not enough connections between the first and third parts. For example, if Geralt gave it to hunting, then why would Ciri use it.
