It has been 3.5 years since the release of Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. Many of the fans have gone through this, without a doubt, the best game five or even more times. All these people especially liked the game clips created on the game engine (Thomas Angelo, who was killed from the sawn-off shotgun, still stands before my eyes; when I first saw it, I almost burst into tears!). Everyone really liked the missions from Extreme. But, I repeat, all this has already been passed many times!!! All this is learned by heart, chewed and digested!!!
Naturally, the whole huge army of fans is waiting for the continuation. Waiting for 3.5 years. Of course, we understand that you are inundated with letters from all over the world. But you understand us! Few developers deliberately doom their game fans to such tantalum torments! And that was in cases where the developers had nothing to say to gamers waiting for new games. But we know (even, rather, we feel!) that the development of the second part of the game is underway. Yes, we understand that it takes a lot of time to make the best game ever. And it is unlikely that any of you, gentlemen, developers, will want to violate the “omerta”, which, as it seems to us, is invisibly operating in the Illusion Softworks office.
The combination of these factors creates fertile ground for rumors, which we are tired of, as we are tired of uncertainty. We want to know at least a small piece of EXACT information about the game, we want this information to be beyond any doubt. Of course, we will not dictate our will to you, but it is desirable that this information relates to the plot of the future game. Information about the city, schedule, new cars… still not so important… Let's endure without it until the release, as we endured these long 3.5 years (and what else was left for ordinary gamers? =))) ) .
