Dismemberment in the game - discussion and impressions, GORE mechanics

The developers said that their goal was to make the game absolutely the bloodiest game ever. But it has to do with gameplay, with dismemberment, melting, electric charge and incineration, zombies and everything.

Introduced gore mechanics from the developers:

"They're just completely anatomically correct models, we basically did everything from hair, skin, fat, muscle, bones and all organs. It's all procedural. Meltdown is our favorite. Sometimes when you hit two or three zombies with a serious corrosive meltdown attack or something like that, they stagger towards you and you can see them fall apart and they don't quite cope because they dissolve before they get to you. make sure our monsters are monsters, but there's enough human left in there, so when you see them staggering after explosions or jumping because I only have one leg, you get this humorous moment."
