Forza issue on steam and microsoft

Played Forza 4 when the xbox game pass was given out for 3 months. And when it ended, the question arose.
If I buy Forza 4 on Steam, will all the data that I played on the Microsoft version be saved? or no matter where the game is bought (Microsoft/Steam) and the data (cars, money, etc.) is saved anyway?
