Runes with runes. (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)

Guys, such crap. Found a sword better than mine. With holes for runes. I went to the blacksmith to pull out the runes from the old one. He pulled out the bastard without any complaints, and here misunderstandings began. There were no runes in the backpack. I checked with the second sword, pulled out one rune, it was gone too. Does he break them? That's how it should be, Krrrwa...MOM!?

So it should. At least on the loading screen there is the following message "if you disassemble the weapon, then the runes inserted from it will be returned" but in this case the weapon will be lost. And in the case of pulling out the runes, the runes are lost, but the weapon is preserved.
