Graphics issues (Red Dead Redemption 2)

In general, I will describe the situation completely for a complete understanding. A year ago I played this game and now I decided to replay it, but I ran into an incomprehensible problem. My iron is quite old, but a year ago I played stable 50 fps on medium-high settings, downloading some kind of miracle config. Iron - i5 3570 in conjunction with gtx1050 (2gb). So now the problem is that I set the settings config and go into the game - the settings are reset to the default settings right before our eyes when the game is loaded. I can’t change the settings manually to which I want, because of the video memory location. If I set all the settings to the very minimum and I have enough video memory, then the settings seem to be saved and remain on restart, but as soon as I put the config where the normal settings are, they are reset by default. Maybe someone can throw a solution? I’ll say right away that I tried to put “read only” on the config. I play on a pirate, I tried to bet from two different pirates, the latest version.
