Impression of the game (Terminator: Resistance)
I played mean in the new Terminator and I must say this game is not gone. On ultra setting, the image kind of grainy and dusty, the graphics are outdated by 10 years. Roughly speaking, this is not a game and the collector of loot, where you have to just run home and press the button to take. On the first mission half of the job was talk to this person, ask to speak to, find this man, then take him again and talk. You could say it is copies of the games Dead Island and Dying Light, only with robots, simulator gathering loot, and conversations, where you still have to choose an answer. So is there a table for crafting of item. I think so, the game can pass but after ZOG gash translation, and see a trainer, do not run around the houses in search of loot.NateberegiSRatsiju
Hmm, although I am not a hardcore player playing games with one knife, I went through this mode immediately after the game and did not notice any bugs
Finally made a game where the choice of dialogue really affects the course of the game. When at the end of the game they showed that everyone I didn’t persuade to leave the shelter was eventually killed, I was just in the air. But the game for the terminator was a little disappointing. All the same, I want a full-fledged company for Skynet, and not just one mission for 40 minutes.
The toy is super, compared to "May the savior come" is just a bomb. Particularly pleasing is the music taken from the films and added to the game. The atmosphere creates, as if you are on the other side of the screen, especially on a hard level. Most of all I liked the music in the radio. He Ms. played in the pen terminator when Sarah was sitting at the bar! Well, the coolest thing is the Scout mode! Just super done, play for the terminator, it's generally space! I'm afraid to even imagine what kind of Robocop they will release later! 10/10
Today I went through the game, I'm going through the DLC. Enthusiasm knows no bounds! At first, the game made me turn up my nose a little carelessly, but quickly took me by the scruff of the neck and plunged me into the atmosphere of the first two films about the terminator)) And it already began to fuck with the budget at every turn. On corridor empty cards, poor variety of everything, stupid AI, short story, sluggish grind and so on. Fuck everything. The developers so skillfully recreated the canonical cold and desperate atmosphere of the post-apocalypse that in corridor maps, even after 10 hours of playing, you still carefully look around the corner, although it would seem that you have already cleared everyone)) Music helps a lot in immersion. When everything is calm, measured-melodious, when there is some kind of danger, it starts to escalate. When there is stress, it starts to stimulate the production of adrenaline)) You don’t even understand yet what kind of danger is coming and from where, and adrenaline is already starting to play. The visual style is impressive. He reminded me how they did it in Alien Isolation, a movie was also shot in such an old-school film, as if. The play of light and shadow. The frozen ruins of the city make him look at and feel the emptiness and despair. When you go to a large open area, the inner feeling begins to say: "Maybe not necessary, huh?". Where is the thread, along the wall or under a canopy is calmer) I was impressed how the terminators did it! Very cinematic! They evoke the same feeling as in the movies! An eerie feeling of inevitability and determination, no matter what. A conflict of perception, it seems that an ordinary person is going to shoot, but openly, firmly, with not a single emotion on his face, no anger, no fear, nothing. He doesn't try to hide, duck, change his pace, nothing. It's something all actions of which are as short and straightforward as possible for one goal. It seems like a person is walking, but it seems like an immortal machine. And somewhere inside you can already hear the echo of growing panic. The shots do almost no damage to him, and he is getting closer and closer. I really liked that, along with the gameplay mechanics and the grind, the balance still remained on the plot and atmosphere. And the rest of the elements play a supporting role. I am impressed! I played a couple of hours in the DLC and immediately delighted! Several very emotional complex scenes, cinematic developments in the very first battles, what a rich start! It is a pity that there is no question of continuing the game, but it is difficult to fully enjoy it for such a short plot, I will replay it. There are still no analogues! I watched several reviews and selections of the best game representatives in the terminator franchise and realized that
I thought it was another dull passer-by, it turned out to be a completely normal toy.
Terminators are smartly made, they also stomp cool, the moment when you get to the hospital and you have to go through the stealth in general 10 out of 10. It’s very atmospheric, it’s a pity that there were no more such moments.
The music is also very cool, and also unrealistic adds to the atmosphere.
There is a very cool easter egg for the film. A tape recorder with a song that plays in the Burnin' In The Third Degree bar, you can take it and then turn it on at the base, plus a key quest will be associated with this tape recorder.
Another chic Mouzon during the sex scene with Jennifer.
I was very pleased that there is pumping and various skills, a lot of different secrets and locked doors that need to be cracked, again there are upgrades for weapons.
It’s very cool that they added hacking of turrets and you can use them against the same terminators, also the first moment where you need to run away from the terminators, where there are still landing capsules, lured everyone under the turrets and looted, and also took the weapon.
Barrels with plasma on locations are also very handy, you can take out several reptiles at once.
Locations are of course quite simple, but in general they do not spoil the atmosphere.
I was also very pleased that there is a choice in quests and your actions affect the ending, in shooters this is quite rare.
Of the shortcomings
, there are not enough keys to peek out from behind the shelter, a very big flaw.
Another very uncomfortable infrared sight, it’s just not clear when the enemy is behind cover or not, again it’s hard to hit a specific part of the body, it’s a pity that they didn’t make it possible to shoot and put ordinary sights.
In general, I pass with pleasure, I even wanted to buy it, otherwise there haven’t been any normal games on the terminator for a thousand years (the same crap, by the way, with Robocop, although it would seem that so many cool ideas can be implemented, in Robocop you can generally come up with a chic pumping and damage system) of course I wanted to would be better locations, with a complex level design that would really have to be stealth and the damage system of the same terminators so that you could shoot off limbs, slow them down, causing damage, etc.
It is very sad that there is no new game +, I would love to go through it again with all the weapons, upgrades and pumping.
The game is fire. I passed earlier. Now I managed to buy a dlc, I decided to go through it again. Then the dls.
Great game, justifies every ruble (I bought it inexpensively). Usually I turn off the music in the game, but here I wanted to listen to it. It feels like a machine is stronger than a man. And often you try to leave unnoticed than to join the battle.
If the game had a larger scale and high graphics, it would be a super hit. But she has neither the first nor the second, and it's still interesting to play it.
Old school gamers who grew up on dandy, sega and playstation 1 will love it.
