Impressions of the game (The Council)
I play from the first minute I liked,intriguing plot,beautiful graphics )I liked also that there are historical characters that existed in reality )in General,the French are always a pleasant surprise with their games )really looking forward to the next episodeAbsolutely agree! Although there are some reservations:
1) Clearly the trend Haight to Russia can be traced; the absence of art, the Russian character and the sarcastic sneer on the ruble.
2) the Great scholars do not know who the father of the Phaeton, but with what fervor the hero demonstrates his knowledge.

Such games are played only after 5 episodes, but nothing to do in the vacation set. My mistake of course, as we now wait for the remaining 2 episodes I don't know. I love non-linear movie, but this game threw 2 episode. Too zamudreno made these points of choice, and hate that they never have enough! Don't know where to use them, and where to save. Didn't expect anything from the game and out of curiosity downloaded and laminated five of the episodes - not bad, the atmosphere and especially the content of episodes/psychological duel or something like it is the highlight of the game. For this it is necessary to praise the French - especially as I age 18-19 in games is not indifferent. With each episode the intrigue leans like an unexpected avalanche and drags down. The graphics are good but the character design leaves much to be desired. To discuss the plot, alas, doesn't make sense because it remains on the reasoning of each player.
What can I say, personally I really liked. The characters and story characters are very well written. Original story. I would like to continue.

From the mechanics point of view, The Council is a combination of modern, close to the "interactive movie" adventure and "detective-psychological" role-playing game. Yes, the French Focus Home Interactive, this year has released two projects with the interesting role-playing mechanics (the other recent Call of Cthulhu). The choice of the player a range detective, "the occult" and spoken skills. Another important element of gameplay – action points. They are spent on skills, what skill level is higher, the less action points needed to use it. The mechanic itself is good, especially for this genre combinations, although, in my opinion, is too loyal to the player. The particular shortage of "action points" I wasn't in the game enough honey is the potion that allows you to use the skill without losing "points".
As for game characters, local guests, it is clearly the positive side of the game. They have worked on the characters, they are interesting to take part in the dialogue. And each character has their own "strengths" and "weaknesses" of character, which must first define, and then to consider during communication. By the way, in The Council we meet such historical figures, such as George Washington and Napoleon Bonaparte. The only disadvantage associated with the NPC, it's clumsy animation.
But the story itself, in my opinion, takes the wrong step. Where could get rich and clever detective political Thriller, the game throws some kind of Santa Barbara and "incredible discoveries", causing only a dull yawn. The final and worse, kills his serve (at least the ending was my Louis). The logic of the behavior of some characters of the game suffers too. Disappointing episode with a murder investigation. And a new useful skill, which is trained with Louis in the end of the fourth episode – just not getting enough situations for its application.
In addition, overall nice looking locations by the end of the game is very stale, especially in the second floor of the mansion, which often have to work up the circles. As for the puzzles, some of them are as interesting, curious puzzles, and frankly boring and tedious (especially the fifth episode).
Overall, the season of The Council leaves mixed feelings: he was greeted with enthusiasm, but escorted a wry smile.

Hello! I removed the new The Council, and I want to hear the opinion of true connoisseurs of this game!
The game took place in one breath.
In comparison, asasin creed toys, even my favorite the first part. Both games combine is essentially the same topic.
After passing from a desire to pereprodaet myths and legends of ancient Greece and Rome and history from the French revolution, and to review carefully the Renaissance paintings.
All because of the fact that the game tells a historical key, only with the help of which you can understand the story.
In General the best for me the game is 2018.
