Impressions of the game (SOMA)

Played for about 2 hours! Reached the place where the Persians flooded and thrown out into the open ocean. Waiting for the game, had high hopes, I really wanted a quality horror film in the spirit of Alien Isoleucin the atmosphere. I have to say, the game impressed! I did not expect that this game will be so cool! After the first 10-15 minutes draws from the head and not let go. The formula of this game: Bioshok+Amnesia+Alien of Isoleucin = Catfish. The first hour of the game reminded as we tumble from the androids in Isoleucine. And style and atmosphere. By the way the style is a 10 out of 10. I really like the horror movies where the scare is not a cheap game and the atmosphere and depressing environment. Here it's all right, 2 hours from the corner while lightning attacks, no one did, the game provides just the environment and atmosphere. But a couple of times bricks have already procrastinating! Loved the attention to detail in the game, each chair, metal stuff lying on the floor, pot, bottle, creak, fall, break down from contact with Persian, making a sound, afraid. Almost every object you can interact, raise, move, throw. Something metal and heavy can distract enemies TweakNow on the floor, some empty paper box or plastic empty case, accordingly, less noise without attracting attention. The game is over. The impressions are quite ambiguous. Graphics are so-so, average, between good and bad. The plot is very interesting, a good idea, but the fact that it's fucking hide and seek! It would be awesome if it was a horror game where it was possible though as-that to protect yourself! But no! This is hide and seek! They already got! The game was played with cheats, because he was fascinated by the story and didn't want to spend a lot of time in the corners, hiding from another tvariny! And I think it's very bad when a game you want to play with cheats! About horror: the game is really dumb! The monsters are not very scary, but the sounds from them are really terrible! Playing the 5.1 system I ran goose bumps when I heard they createt, shouting and coughing! It's cool! Especially dumb was under water at the end of the game! The environment is impressive! It was terrible even with cheats)). The main drawback of this optimization! I'm just amazed! Well, what's so slow! GTA 5 Witcher, and it ran cool. And this shit manages to fly with an error to terminate the operation of the driver of NVIDIA! Well, just gorgeous! In short, 5 out of 10 for story, sound and the environment! If it hadn't been a stupid hide and seek, you would have pulled the game at 8!

In short, the game very much .
There is morality ,meaning and food for thought.
Let it not horror ,but rather a Walker ,but the story and the great atmosphere of the game pull.
Further more details:
1)the Story
He is just perfect ,no ,it's not a series of Bioshok ,but all the same.
Behind him nabludat interesting , learn something new ,to explore .
Flow ,mainly through notes ,audio recordings ,there's only a plus ,helps the immersion.
There will be several moral the elections ,which will give You a challenge choosing between bad and worse.
However throughout the game they have no effect ,although it is obvious that first developed wanted gash 2 endings which depend on choices of the player.(although the final version I like more)

Spoilery I did not destroy and did not know what this does.
And what's the point? The ark in space ,and what will happen on earth ,especially on the bottom of the ocean completely anyway.
2)the Atmosphere
Game since getting to the station involves in its thick atmosphere that does not let go until the final credits (and after them).
3)Visual
Grafona no optimization average ,but this is not important ,for the design and 2 of the preceding paragraph is negate.
You don't think about polygons until you pass the game.
4)And now about sad
a)Curve stealth.

The beginning of the game very weak, but the level of doom 3 and even worse.
The plot is not fed uniformly, were not disclosed 1 question - who and why'd you put Simon in a hundred years ?
I assume that it made the Ross of theta (that's that dude that NIU wanted to destroy), but the documents confirming this have not found.
Monsters are stupid, but at some point the bricks make laying.
The plot issues were raised of course curious.
1)

Sorrow,to make such a cool setting and screw up gameplay,boring.
In principle, I expect that for me the game will be very boring (the game is totally not scary,you have at least a few control points to make,and more variety of fearsome foes (to make scenes like they kill people),but it failed),because I knew what enemies to kill, we will not give,because that is the concept of the game,but I bribed a very cool design and style of the game,made it really chic.
Really should say that in the game, mediocre graphics,but that's not so spoil the experience,but shitty lighting (Lord, Yes, in DooM 3 2004 it it is better) negates all the atmosphere and the efforts of the designers and artists who worked on the game,and it's really sad,because the design is really great,all these compartments are embedded in a wall, the cables flowing down the walls and ceilings black gel,robots fused with the living flesh,even opening the doors and decompression in the compartments,contributes,and how cool did the underwater walk (though this again is clearly overdone,at some point you just get tired),plankton which floats in water, etc. everything is done very cool,but outdated technologies do not allow to show it in all its glory,and even DOFом and soap is very much overdone.But glitches GG when the picture breaks up as if in some places the fragments are very pleased with the way the sound is made at the height of my headphones is just a fairy tale.

I'm really sad that in these really cool Sdelaj locations,gameplay part of the game is very boring,and it could make a perfect clone of the Deda Space,and don't even have a lot of enemies to do that to their fire packs,it was enough to realize at least something about what I wrote above,but we have only one way of playing,hide and run,all no more options.
Even though the mechanics of the game which allows you to move objects in the game did not something really interesting,complex and original.
By the way, the game reminded me of the movie Virus 1999,is very similar in theme to this game.
Even the flashbacks which we find touching the corpses,did not convert properly,but it can be stupid to create scenes that happened,it's just at times would add to the atmosphere of the play,Hello Hibernation.
Boring and very primitive in terms of gameplay,though the ending is pleased.

Great fantastic game! Very scary! For me - this is the worst project Frictional Games! The game is tense,dark and uncomfortable.The atmosphere is so pressing that it seems is about to burst! Yes,it's not a blockbuster,not pop like Alien Isolation.No need to even compare..

Look here (and only here) a huge amount of positive feedback (Oh my God 10/10) and I don't understand why!!! Personally, I am very upset about the wasted time and money on this game because it is really boring, good short.

liked the game, very addictive 99% of the immersion in the game, the time flies without noticing, went for 2 days a good story., but damn sorry for the little robot(
graphics mediocre, it'll do nicely, for me, better story than textures to look at. (but when and then that is generally fine) (all max FullHD Vert.Singh. almost always 60fps, i5-3570k + GTX770 (acceleration to 1306Mhz)
sound effects (acoustics 5.1 + a receiver) liked when in the water being like himself there, and always hear what side of the monster, especially when running away from it quickens the heartbeat not only of the hero but I have).

Yeah...a special gift to say. Well all in all thanks for the PEP talk. There are many games which are able to scare. That's the last I liked Outlast. Though the game makes you experience feelings of fear and anxiety only during the first hours of the passage, however, SOMA is not even capable of it. Looks like Yes, the game is not for me.

You're just perceptive enough to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the game. It is about the same as when reading books. Some people read a book and find yourself in a completely different world, while others see nothing but an endless series of repetitive letters and lines. Therefore, some people love to read books and not others, and SOMA is kind of interraktivnoe book, and this is its main difference from 95% of other computer games.

To play under water, water is just DISGUSTING !!! If under water replace with type antigravity type on some planet, I would not notice the difference.... in the same Aquanox, the water was just amazing, sorry that the project did not develop.

The looks are awesome. Tighten so that neutorgasse. The real horror. No you overpushed, and supernatural abilities. You've seen a Ghost drapey, leaving a trail of yellow brick otherwise the game will be over.
