Do not run the game (Rise of the Tomb Raider)
Decided here because of the lack of new decent games pereproyti Lara, but unfortunately I can't run on the same computer and the system on which you played it before.. When you double-click on file ROTTR near the mouse pointer for a few seconds there is a icon a La hourglass and nothing happens. Tried different Repack, I read somewhere that you must be running steam I have reinstalled it to be sure that the result is 0. I have tried everything that I found on the Internet and there's nothing left, how to ask a question here. Who that will advise?vitalik691

Before installing a new game , you need to delete the old system folder as the startup file refers to this folder , and it does not match the new installation . The folder may be located at the addresses ( depending on version ) , anything you find, delete it .
C:\Program Files(x86)Steamuserdata\Figures\Figures\remote
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming
C:\Users\username\Documents\Eidos

DirectX web update and just in case you can put DirectX 9. Completely remove all vc redist, restart and install all the x86 and x64 2005-2008-2010-2012-2013-2015 all 2005-2008-2010-2012-2013-2015 (if supported by the system!?). Usually this helps. You can still clean up the registry using ccleaner.
P. S. If there is an error with the program or game, it always creates the report in the Windows log, where is written the name of the process and a description of the error.
Perhaps the registry cleaning is prevented, then what he wrote
nestrbob, and the game would cease to refer to these folders
