It is not always the key quest gives a character, it happens next to the chests there are skeletons which needs to be searched.

I didn't break a sweat, no key, and figs with him, still in top gear they rarely.

the key to the chest in the Sunken Minoan Palace will give the quest (with quest, We are not thieves... (or something like this) on the CEOs. The quest will appear after the first quest for Ksenia will do, sort of. The diamonds as you progress through the story will appear
