A: There are several options to increase performance in ArmA 3:

Turn off vertical sync (the V-Sync);
Add option to run game in — exe-file "-cpuCount=#";
Go to the directory Documents\Arma 3, find the configuration file with the extension *.CFG, open with Notepad and edit: set gpu max frames 1000 to 1, cpu max frames 1000 to 1, -maxvram=4042, -maxmem=8192, -exthreads=7 and-cpucount=4, -nosplash to skip the Intro video.
