I certainly have not played all the factions, but for me the favorite faction is France, and I have my reasons.
1-I hate the British(subjectivity taxis)
2-the most powerful Western cavalry in the game(the Mongol cavalry, though stronger,but it is East)
3-the difficulty of the game for this country cool(because you can be an enemy to England and to Germany(it's easier to say),and for Milan,and Sicily(by the way, they first attacked me,in Marseille specifically),and Mauritania(they direct their landings and Marseille and Toulouse) and in Spain(they attacked me),and for Portugal,and for Denmark(especially if they manage to take Antwerp and Bruges),even with the Papal state you can manage to quarrel,in General overdadige enemies waiting for you.
