One-handed or two-handed weapons? (The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim)

I just passed 5 Skyrim purely durukoy and onions, but 6 times picked up the two swords, and felt the power, no less, or even slightly more than Kurochkin weapons. Hence the question: which is better koroknai weapons or one-handed ?
