Chip may have come to an end. So, just in case. What settings you play? For slide show resolution not higher than 1600x1200 desired level 750Ti video card. To disable smoothing, should have at least 2 GB VRAM for that resolution.

Everything you described is a typical situation with overheating of the CPU.

Known fact:
1) not Enough cooling. Percent strongly AMD tend to overheat. Work temperature almost 2 times exceeds the temperature of the work station to another Intel.
2) If you have a very good cooling system means it is bad/installed incorrectly. The case could be the following:
If you have active+passive cooling system (cooler + thermotrace with heatsink), it is likely a bad heatsink pressed against the CPU.

Also there can be issues with thermal paste, be sure to check its condition and quantity.

For example, write simple:
The cooling system is broken if this thing (under the spoiler in the photo) the lower part of bad contact with the CPU. In this case, the radiator can not cool the processor adequately. You must maximize the density of the cooling system on the processor in the slot.
