Game on LAN (Portal 2)
In order to play co-op over lan:1) Log in on both computers and Enable developer console in the options..
2) Press ` to open the console. Write ... sv_lan 1.
3) the Client should connect first as the connection is interrupted, if the Host is in the empty game for a few seconds, but the client can wait indefinitely.
Client: Type into the console... connect replacing <> with the IP.
For example... connect 192.168.1.3
4) Next, the host selects a map by typing in console... mp_coop_ replacing <> with the name of the desired card.
For example... map mp_coop_start
5) the Host will connect, and when the client will see that the blue bar filled, you can start the game.

The name of the current map can be seen after it has loaded (in order to then be able to continue), but all earned actions will be lost. Note that you can be redirected to mp_coop_lobby_2. In this case, you just have to restart the process to the next level.
