Shelter (Mass Effect: Andromeda)

Is there a possibility to somehow change the direction of the character at the shelter? When I approach any wall/rock/barrel/Yes anything, he is always behind cover face to the right side and is not rotated if you move left, as it happens in other games. In the end, if I need to look right - everything is OK, but if you want to look out to the left - I'm just open for attack. As it should be?
