The resolution problem in games
All kind time of day. The question arose. I have Monique's connected to the graphics card via an adapter DVI-VGA. When I start some games, then on the monitor there is an inscription Not supported resolution. Use 1366*768 60Hz. And in some games you can change the resolution fine, but in others as don't change, still the inscription is highlighted. What is the root of the problem and how to solve it?Data monitor in the Studio (although I can safely say that the monitor is simply out of date. Some modern games do not support the format, the resolution of your monitor)

Maybe I'm not correctly expressed. Example: the game runs at a resolution of 1920:1080 with a frequency of 170hz. I have says Not supported resolution. Use 1366*768 60Hz. Launch the game in a window, everything is fine. Change the resolution to 1366*768 and running in full screen and still gives the same thing. My guess is it does not change the frequency( that is not intended for 60 Hz and 170hz leaves). Is it possible to lock a resolution of 1366*768 60 Hz?

Do I understand correctly that even if Monique is connected via an adapter to the graphics card, it shouldn't give sky-high screen resolution?

there should not be. As a variant, look in the settings of the monitor or try another adapter
