The list of fixes from 02.02.17 (PlanetSide 2)

2 Feb at 16:00 GMT server Planetside 2 has been down for 2 hours to install the update.


Carbine NSX Tanto
Meet the new member of the family NSX (Nanite Systems Export) - carbine Tanto with specialized stabilizers that allow you to fire accurately and show good accuracy when firing from the hip. This functionality enables the Tanto's ability to effectively fight at close and long distances, while retaining significant mobility, which is important to experienced shooters. It is recommended to fire in short bursts, as stabilizers require some time recalibrating during prolonged fire.

NSX Directive Master level
Unlocked NSX Directive level Master. It is issued to players with Auraxium medals on the 5 weapons series NSX (Nanite Systems Export). The reward will be a samurai helmet.

Infantry balance
Changes to the range fall damage for Assault Rifles (assault rifles) and LMGs (machine guns).
Dev note: the previous chart is the fall damage was too effective at large distances, making useless many of the weapons mounting (improve) and restricting freedom of choice of players. These changes should help a large number of weapons and weapon classes to work effectively in those ranges shooting.

Change the range of damage and the value of the damage for Assault Rifles (assault rifles) and LMGs (guns) are listed below and not modifierade Soft Ammo (slow bullets) and High Velocity Ammo (high speed bullets).

Dev note: We wanted to make changes that increase the clip of the Butcher (Butcher), 400 rounds, however, during testing on the test server the bug was found (and it was a double recharge during the replenishment of ammunition at terminals - approx. We will try to make this change in the future, but for now the Butcher got a slight increase in rate of fire along with the removal of the mechanics of promotion.

Dev note: Pelter Rocket Pods were not only difficult to use on moving targets, but not rewarded properly for the skill to use. These changes would help the arrows hit the targets, and a larger magazine size and ammo will inflict more damage and take longer to fire.

Prowler, Magrider, Vanguard
Ranger (defense weapon)

Dev note: adjust tilt angle down to the Ranger and the Walker will help to reduce situation when you find the enemy on your horizon, but will not be able to do damage. This change is rather more made for ease of use, while Walker will get at least a little more effectiveness against infantry at long distances.

Harasser, Flash, Sunderer, ANT
Fury
Indirect damage (the splash) has been reduced from 334 to 150
Dev note: Fury got the adjustment splash in all directions, since the weapon currently performs the role protivotoksicheskoe weapons, while maintaining high efficiency when firing at infantry. Direct damage is unchanged, but the weapon is still flexible enough (works like the technique and the infantry) will now require more skill arrow in the confrontation with the infantry.

Dev note: Installed on an air platform with the highest health points in the game, the Bulldog was too powerful instrument of agriculture (i.e. farm - approx. Choropleth), especially in small scale fights. These changes increase the importance of direct hits for artillery, at the same time, giving their victims more likely to respond to incoming damage.

Changing the angle of inclination of weapons and indirect damage (splash)
Dev note: with some exceptions, the adjustment angles listed below, are designed to create small zones of invulnerability of the enemy's infantry is very close to the vehicle. Decal 1CC1 now displayed correctly.
