What genre is it's time to save?

The game industry is evolving. New opportunities, new technologies appear. However, many genres of games go retired, and some even die. In my memory there was a period when the light was going quests, now fortunately has come to life again ; Meat shooters also seems to be dead, but now again in the Stora. Text quests are interesting to enthusiasts. However, I think there are many genres and sub-genres that are dying due to the fact that new games there, and the old modern geymeram not interesting.

What genres in your opinion have to save and revive?

Genres often evolyutsioniruet and adapt to the market. If they for some reason die, then there's a reason. The real problem is the quality of games and new ideas. The stories are rubbish for people who can't in books. From a mechanical point of view, most of the major games made on the same pattern, and only differ visually. Although having the money vbuhivayut in advertising, they could innovate, but make money on the fans pozyrit story. Innovation is in the indie market, but from the mountains the same type of garbage they are hard to see. Something like that.

Yes, there is all igroindustriyu need to save if you think about it.

Most of the games are trash. In the end, when out 1-2 good games a year, they collect all the rewards just because they have all converged and the product was no hack, but with the soul.
Earlier in the year these games came out a lot more 5-6 games for sure.

On the old PS to recall Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, The legenf of Dragoon, Resident Evil 1,2, 3, Parasite Eve 1, 2, Dinocrysis 1,2. Warcraft, C&C, Red Alert, Metal Gear Solid. View what years they came out. FallOut 1, 2, Arcanum, Baldur's Gate, Nevervinter, Tekken 2, 3, NFS Underground 1, 2, SW KotoR 1,2.

Before the game night completely fought off sleep and was the plot of a good book.. My friend I remember that were talking shit about Final Fantasy, but when I gave him the disk with the 8th finally, he sat down... and sat behind her for almost two days without a break.
What now?
Now almost all new good make me sleepy for half an hour. And kill my free time.
Over the past five years avidly from beginning to end I went from force games 3-4 maximum. 20 pieces was just abandoned and pending until the time that their movie.

Of course it's all subjective. XS maybe I'm the only one?

You need to save the RTS genre, with the construction of the base, a set of forces and rush. Because these games are right now very rarely go.

I would write Survival horror, but it was always a niche genre, and games in this genre have come out and go rarely, very pleased with a remake of RE2,of course, an enormous contribution to this genre made the Dead Space series, very sad that EA has buried this series with very talented developers, and of course the stunning series of The Evil Within,it's mechanics and different buns, complexity, very cool atmosphere, the flow, perhaps closest to the genre in fact, in addition to these three series in recent years, unfortunately neither of which came.

Now the entire industry must be saved. Large companies don't want to risk doing something new, just milking old, well-established franchise. And indie developers stupidly not enough funding for a serious, modern designs.
Anyway, now in industry came the financiers, who do not care deeply for the quality of their projects, the main thing - profit. Because of this battle and we get a lot of pianos, Luther-shooters, under-vyzhivalok and MMORPG with anal donut. Ubisoft is insolent to such an extent, that introduced your final a SINGLE player game artificially created grindol that would spotlight players to a donut.
In General, are stagnating in almost all genres, but the cattle-sessional. How many in the last years went really good AAA arcade racing? The NFS series has long degenerated, but what else is there? Forza Crew, Yes? And that's all.
RTS, as many have mentioned, almost dead genre.
With the story shooter, too, all pretty sad, although in recent years, and out of Doom and Wolfenstein NC, but it's only a couple of exceptions, battles and Kolda, instead of a single campanini got the bottle of Royal. I really miss the old, bellhops satanam filled with narrative, like HL and old CoD.
MMORPG too buried in the monotony and anal Donato. Varick and Ruler, as was the best since its release, and remains the best to this day. But worst of all, degenerated their audience. Resnici as an interlayer players just disappeared, but was the bulk of aggressive, toxic shkoloty. Disappeared all the romance of this genre, now playing only with one purpose to assert themselves at the expense of the game.
But me personally, I feel the worst for an ARPG. They just turn into action games, and role-playing elements become just an appendage, virtually nothing on impact. The once-great series of this genre Follaut, TES, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Star Wars, Gothic or died/die or become/turn into feces. But still a glimmer of hope for Cyberpunk, Outer Worlds and even, perhaps, Starfield.

The genre of adventure for example, Crash Bandicut, Mini Ninja... I Haven't seen the latest innovations similar games. In their place appeared an indie game, and it's frustrating(

Shooters first and third person (especially the third) need serious integration with RPG projects and strategies, it is extremely boring to play and beaten for the sake of second-rate loot.
