Help with chip Crossfire X

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Start from your PC:

-Motherboard Asus P7P55D Le
-Processor i5 750
-Internal memory 8GB
Videos HD 6990
Power supply 700W (model: hk700-52pp)
And now to the point:
I was given a Power color HD 7870 and whether it is stable to work with my HD 6990 and my power supply for the fun of it or is it useless and not worth to suffer crap?

There is not. HD6990 CrossfireX is already using two HD6970 chips. HD7870 belongs to the next generation of graphics cards.
