Pattern drawing on the texture of the suit (The Amazing Spider-Man)

So, I decided to write another article. Go.

First you need to decide what pattern you want to put on the suit (at the end of the article I will link to those which I have). I chose hexagons.

First open the file with our hexagons.

Now click the top Edit > Define pattern..., call somehow our new pattern and close this file.

Next, open the texture you want to apply the pattern.

For example, I took the texture of the standard suit and painted mask random color. {Note: I painted over the mask on the new layer, i.e. I didn't touch the background. The same and advise you to do}
Now on the sidebar, select the tool Patterned stamp on top of the adjustable parameters, choose our hexagons.

Create a new layer. Switch to the layer on which you painted the mask and select all (Ctrl+A). Activate the free transformation (Ctrl+T), move the layer a little to the side, and then return it to the place. After that we will select all that is present on the layer.

Now, without removing the selection highlight, switch to the previously created empty layer. And we put our Patterned stamp hexagons on the mask. It does not need to be afraid to draw a pattern where it is absolutely not necessary, because the pattern will be applied only to the selected area. You should get something like this
