dull colors in 1080p
Gentlemen, such a problem: bought a new monitor set up, but can't figure out how to configure normal color. In 1920x1080 resolution the colors are dull and the picture is brighter. Instead of black gray. When changing permissions on any other colors become vivid, as it should be. Surely the solution is simple, but I can't find...Dr. Otto Wolfgang Ort-Meyer
Try the settings to factory reset and configure again, maybe what the profile is included, although it should work on any resolution, enough that even the colors change when changing resolutions.
If the graphics card is from NVIDIA and the hdmi connection or display port, it is necessary to supply the full range.
here is the picture
If the connection is via dvi - then you need to look in the settings of the monitor may reset some parameters when the resolution.
If vga, then it's either a bug with the controller or cable problem, or the same settings are reset.
And if the graphics card from AMD - there, too, you can choose a color range, but look at Google how it's done.

Thank you, kind man, no one else has written a solution to this problem anywhere else, he was afraid that it was not solvable at all.

And I can’t put full on the TV, only limited, and when you set the resolution to 1920x1080, the colors become pale and the image is blurry, and at the native resolution of 3840x2160 the image is excellent, but the games slow down

Write the model of the monitor, you may need to change the type of hdmi connection or display port, before changing, unplug the monitor from the outlet.

Let's start with the fact that you have a TV. Set it to 2560x1440. 1080P looks really bad. On deshman TVs, the processor scales so-so. It's not surprising that it's bad. This is a well-known image conversion topic. Try to use FullHD in the game itself, with a desktop in 4k. Or play in the window.
TVs and monitors are a slightly different topic. And it's also 4k TV.

At a resolution of 2560x1440, the same hat as at 1920x1080, I don’t want to play in the window, I lowered it in the nvidia settings from 60 hertz to 50 and it became normal, a bright picture and no brakes, I usually do this in games if there is such a function, it's just that in this game it is absent, the only thing is that the game is strongly tied to 60 frames and at 50 hertz the input of clicks is a little late
I solved the problem by the fact that on the TV-search, that is, the source ''hdmi1'' was renamed to ''game console'' precisely because when I put ''PC'' the problem was not solved, the image now does not lather at a resolution of 1920x1080, the picture is bright and clear, maybe it will help someone who has the same problem, because he rummaged through the entire Internet and who had such problems - they didn’t advise anything good there and they generally disappeared from the chat as a result
