I can't switch to another character. (Grand Theft Auto 5)

Push the left viola, instead in the lower left corner pops "Cancel the F3 record"
"Save the F1 record" And there is no character selection menu. I didn't change anything in the management, there's a left viola. I tried to move to the right viola, too, it did not work, what to do to be able to choose again? And yes, I know you can't do some assignments. But there's not even a menu popping up! it has something else to do with it. And getting back the default settings didn't help either. And even the extra key didn't help.
