The quest with Max (Battle Chasers: Nightwar)

Started to pass the game and after passing the quest with a mouse Max there was a question: At least who would lead him to the corpse of an alchemist? I only after coming out of the sewer remembered that near the alchemist there is a jar of potions of growth. Maybe someone did that. Tell me how in this case the quest ends and what is the reward?
