Search a live robber. (Kingdom Come: Deliverance)

In the quest "hunting begins" there is a bug - when I go into the woods - I first have the task to search the robber, and then to examine the lawn, which is quite strange. The problem, however, is that when I get there - the robber who needs to be searched - is alive, it can only be finished off but it does not solve the problem, how many do not hit him. What to do?
