Connecting the graphics card

I'm going to take the RTX 3070, the Corsair TX650M power supply. I had a question how to connect this graphics card in 12 pin powered to a block which has 8 pin powered graphics card

Any extra wires and connectors are additional resistance and heating, especially at the points of contact. And this adapter still needs to be checked how it will pull the load of the card, or even melt, or maybe take the card with it with a burnout. So, a reliable block, several lines, and do not ship one. With a guarantee, neither the power supply nor the card, even in the event of a meltdown, they WILL REFUSE, with the wording - "overload".

There will be no problems with the video card if I power it with two wires
That's how it should be done.
