Has anyone tried mode Hamada? (Bard's Tale, the (2004))

Decided to play the Bard's Tale on the PC, but she did not go for W7 x64 :))) so ran an emulator and was shocked by what he saw in the game settings:

What is it? Somebody already tried? This is the type of hardcore mode, or really after the death of you in the game then in real life in hell going? :)))
