Laid up the game (Mafia 2)

Hey. I played mafia 2 on my laptop at maximum speed with 60 fps. But at one point the laptop was discharged when I was playing. I restarted it, turned on the game and began to lag terribly, somewhere around 20-25 fps. I decided to reinstall the game in order to fix the bug and also carried out quite a lot of frauds on the advice from different forums, but all to one place. Tell me what could be the problem and how to solve it?

situation is not clear enough. The game works through a discrete card. For the sake of interest, I even set the minimum settings and resolution 800 * 600 - and the fps is the same (15-25). As if heavenly punishment fell on my laptop. In general, HZ what to do. Problem!!!
