C Fx on i7, is it worth it ???

The situation is as follows. Now there is Fx 8320 4.4Ghz, gtx 970, 16 gb. Also lies at work i7 4820k with motherboard asus rampage formula. The question is. is it worth changing fx 8320 to i7 4820k ??? will the difference be noticeable in games ??? or is it better to sell i7 4820k with motherboard and take i7 6700k ??? again, will the difference be noticeable between i7 4820k and i7 6700k ???

Definitely worth it. Well, you shouldn't change the i7-4820K to the i7-6700K, at least because the E-series has normal solder under the lid. And under the i7-6700K you will have to buy DDR4.

Moving from 8320 is definitely worth it, especially if there is such an opportunity. The difference will be quite noticeable.

By eye in games, the difference between these chips is unlikely to be noticed - the performance will probably rest against the vidyahu, but from the point of view of foresight, the upgrade to 6700K looks more attractive - a newer socket with all the consequences: support for ddr4, 2 times lower TDP due to a smaller technical process and etc.

I switched from i5-2500K, the difference was huge in performance. Of course you need to go, especially since it is not so expensive now!

Of course it's worth it, I switched from 3570K to 6700K gain in different games from 10 to 30 fps

Of course it's worth it from FX to 4820K, but changing from 4820K to 6700K is not

I will not say about the 4820, but there was an experience with 8320 4.8 GHz and i7 3820, then there was a card r9 290 difference in fps was in favor of Intel in the early days of 1-5 frames.

and 4820k does not differ much from 3820, it seems.

It is not yet worth it because of the high rate of $$$$ But when it will cost 36 rubles again, 1 dollar is worth it.

and where does the rate, if there is an opportunity to change 8320 to 4820 for free, the whole question is whether it is worth it.

If it's worth it for free, but paying that kind of money for 5 FPS is nonsense !!!

A
Andrew Praxis 28.12.20

asbarton
ie the difference will be approximately 5 fps between 8320 and 4820 ???

Better than I7 of course, if you are sure that you will sell your 4820k, then you better take 6700k.

Guy, go to some good pitch store, they will better advise you there, then the system works faster, then the second for 1151 socket only has ddr4.

Good morning to you. Skylake is designed to work with DDR4 or DDR3L - and not every motherboard supports the latter.
