Processor + memory + mat. pay. Budget ~ 20k
So, we have:processor phenom II x4 965
mate. board 790XT-G45
memory 16gb ddr2 Hyunday
video card R9 280x
What is required:
Well, 99% percent was not loaded in most games and was not a plug for a video card.
In general, we need stable 45fps at 1080p at medium settings (roughly speaking), that is, I'm not chasing the mythical 120fps 4k for 30k. Well, it would be nice at least to write / stream video in 720p. It is clear that even this is problematic now.
With memory, everything is clear: Kingston HX318C10F * / 8

Processor: obviously red, blue corny can't afford it. Liked AMD FX-8320E Vishera

However, there is not much choice (or am I wrong?)
Mat. fee: if there is a special difference in them, or is it enough to take any for ~ 5k? Yes, at least this: MSI 970A-G43

Well, the main question: is there any sense in such an upgrade?
it's better to take something based on Intel, but in the future not to change the entire platform as a whole. Let's say on socket 1150 1155 (Amd has long been outdated), but it will come out much more expensive for that in the future it will be easier to update components) And as for the fact that the percentage will not keep up with the vidyuha, it depends on what kind of vidyuhu you take, well, the percentage)

the main difference is the chipset. On 7xx and 8xx chipsets, definitely don’t take the boards, but otherwise, make sure that there are all the connectors you need and in the right amount. If you plan to overclock the percentage, then also pay attention to the power supply scheme, and additional radiators on the board in this case will not be superfluous either.
Processors with the letter "E" at the end have lower power consumption due to the reduced base frequency. If there is not too much difference in price between the regular and "E" -version in the store, then it is better to take the usual percent, especially for overclocking.

It depends on your plans for the future: if you plan to sit on one socket for a long time, periodically changing only the percent. and a video card, then it is better to save money for Intel, because there will be simply nowhere to upgrade on the AM3 + socket.
In general, I would advise you to wait until the process is released. from amd on AM4 socket. Even if neither the price nor their performance suits you, the previous generations will have to get cheaper, and money can be saved up during this time.

About new processors really useful advice, thanks. If am3 + really no longer produces prots, then in the end, after a while, you will again have to change the mat. Payment + percent, which will entail extra costs. In such cases, it is better to really wait for what amd will present and then start from this.
