Performance Definitive Edition (Dead Island)
How well optimized is the game? Write FPS and your configurations. Where is the best optimization in Dying Light or the Definitive Edition?i5-2400, 560ti 1GB, 8GB of RAM
Settings: resolution 1600 * 900, blur and ssao are disabled, anti-aliasing is ON, the rest is "high". Going great (for me). Exactly the same settings in dying light, only the textures are average, about the same performance, but the graphics are still better there.
There are drawdowns, but I think the reason is 1GB of memory on my video card and it itself is loaded by 99-100%, but the load of the processor cores is only 15-30%, all four. If you reduce the resolution from 1080p to 900p, then it goes smoothly, in some places there are micro slowdowns that are not annoying. FPS 40-60.
I installed the latest nvidia driver, nothing seems to have changed.

It's funny but true - in full-screen mode, my FPS is lower than in a window with the same resolution (1920x1080): D On "ultras" (all-inclusive), in full-screen mode below 30, the counter does not show, but it feels like there are no 20 from time to time, but in window from 45 and above and is played in a completely different way, even just by switching focus from the game somewhere and back, FPS becomes normal ... if the game is so good with Win10, if the AMD firewood is so friendly with Win10: D (where to find my vacuum cleaner, I think you you know)
Turned off graininess, motion blur and got 40-60 fps at maximum, coffin in profile ...
And in Dying Light, only average, from 30 to 60.
flashlight performance, the slide does not work, sometimes out of the blue drawdowns up to 28 fps, although otherwise it is stable 60, the diving light is better according to the graphics and it gave me almost stable 60 fps without PCSS shadows on max even in batches, but here it is incomprehensible to blasphemy with the original graphics consumption of video memory 2300MB
I have a performance issue. The fact is that the game began to fall frequently from 50-60FPS to 15-20FPS at ultra. If you put it on low, nothing changes, it's still 15FPS. This started to happen after 12% of the storyline.
Smartly optimized, tried to play on Pentium G4400 and gtx 660, load on cores 40-55% (at maximum settings), video card is always loaded at 100%, does not jump all the time, like in Dying Light. I tested it on g4400 and on i5-6400 (with gtx 660 at 1080p), there is no difference, so I say that it is optimized smartly. In the same Dying Light, the difference between these processors was significant. and here, at max. settings on average 50-55 frames, but if you look at the filled area from the edge of the map, it can drop to 40. If you set the viewing range to minimum (everything else is at maximum), then 60+ frames.
