Character selection error (Overwatch)

Sometimes, when you change a character at the last moment, or just like that the stars converged, the selection menu freezes on some character, and gives a random one in battle without the ability to change. This is especially common in 3on3 or 6on6.
Does anyone have this? And how to deal with it.
