Impressions of the Ancient Gods DLC 1.2 (Doom Eternal)



Unfortunately, in DooM 2016 there were no story DLCs, and I personally really wanted to continue this madness, but in Doom Eternal, the developers were very pleased and released as many as two add-ons.



In general, ID and the Doom series is that rare case when developers release a very suitable product every time and evolve in the form of their games and do not degrade, as is very often the case with many eminent developers, and the DLC The Ancient Gods Part One for me in this case is perhaps the pinnacle this evolution, I have not received so much challenge and impressions from any other single-coil shooter (after Doom 2016 I thought that IDs would not be able to surprise me much, but DOOM Eternal gave me even more impressions and emotions, plus they delivered even more different levels difficulty and mater levels, especially considering that such old-school shooters are rarely released in general), this is the rare case when the game forces you to use the maximum of your skills and abilities,very quickly and correctly select a weapon for each specific situation and, most importantly, you cannot sit quietly somewhere, even more so that they added reinforced enemies and even cooler spirits that can infuse demons and enhance them, and these spirits, again, can only be killed by certain with the weapon, a certain type of upgrade must still be selected,



in general, the first DLC gave me a maximum of positive emotions, impressions and a challenge, unfortunately the second DLC was simplified, although again I was glad that they added new enemies and new gameplay elements that, again, can add variety to the gameplay and complicate it a little, leveled design, design of locations The last level of the Ancient Gods 2 looks very epic, I just remembered the Quake series, but the last boss unfortunately upset, compared to the boss from the first DLC, this is some kind of beating of a baby, they could at least at the end to make him get out of the robot and make this fight as challenging and difficult as possible, then it would look very cool, but in general, from these two DLCs, and indeed from Doom Eternal, I probably got the maximum challenge and impressions ,very rarely what game can please so much, with such fast and most vigorous gameplay, and a gorgeous picture, awesome Mouzon and divine otimization are just the icing on the cake.
For me personally, that DooM 2016, that Doom Eterna are masterpieces in their genre, it is very sad that these are practically the only representatives of their genre, and other developers do not do anything like that, the same Wolfenstein does not hold out, I am not even talking about the last part.
I really hope that ID will continue to be able to please me with such cool products for which I will be happy to pay.
