Game won't start (Dungeon Siege 2)

Downloaded good old Dungeon Siege 2 for laptop. Windows 10. When you start the game, after the appearance of three dots at the bottom left (they should be at startup), an error sound appears, as if you opened something on behalf of the administrator, and that's it, 3 dots change to 2, and nothing can be done ... The game does not collapse in any way, when you try to switch somewhere through Alt + Tab, the window is highlighted, but still does not switch anywhere, it also leaves it in the game, on top of everything. And after all, no window with an error is highlighted. I close the game only by Ctrl + Alt + Del -> Log out. Who knows how to decide? C ++ of all years is, Dx latest version.
