Should you play in 2021? (Sid Meier's Civilization 5)

I got the opportunity to buy Sid Meier's Civilization V Complete Edition, but my question is, is it worth buying it now? in 2021, taking into account the fact that there is a 6th part,

I can either buy 5 civ with all dlc or 6k but only the basic game

so I want to ask people who played 5k and 6k what is better to take and are there any bugs in the incentive?

I saw the 6th, until I take it. Chase the 5th, it is inexpensive, and then you will take the 6th, if the desire and finances coincide.

I suggest you play torrents first, if you don’t want to understand the game, then don’t take it. And since the game is excellent, I highly recommend it.

Marlexa
so the fact is that I am more familiar with the 5th part than with the 6th

I played the demo of the 5th civic in the incentive and I also played it on the java phone

Definitely worth it. These are two completely different games in terms of mechanics. 6, however, is more saturated with them. I would even say oversaturated. And that's without the DLC yet. I myself am the owner of a naked 6-ki. I got it about a month ago. Before that, I played the fifth for a year and a half. The transition is very difficult. There is no snowball learning, when new information is gradually layered onto an already existing base. They just pour a bucket full of new mechanics and concepts on you. Yes, there is training in the game, but it is insanely boring and does not reveal the whole essence that you will encounter throughout the game. If you have not watched guides, streams and have not read articles on 6-ke, it is better not to go. I say this as a person that I have been sitting on difficulty level 3 for three weeks and still does not understand which technology or institution is better to squeak from, where there are so many barbarians on the map, and every time I move as a unit, I am surprised,
6 is a great stratum, obviously. You have to think much more there than in the fifth. Much more to analyze and calculate. The only thing that repels me is that you have to bet a lot more there (more likely more often), and in general, the share of the influence of randomness on the party has slightly increased in comparison with the 5th one. Play fifth, enjoy life. Get bored, buy a six, but I warn you: at first there will be significant problems with the development. Good luck and good game, Ely Maze.
